I like to silence my m4 because technically a silenced m4 is quieter than an m4 thats unsilenced primarily because of the silencer's silencing abilities and with the silence and quiet i can hear my teammates voices through teamspeak while spraying my rifle, also the silenced m4 is MORE silenced than the unsilenced m4 making it a silenced weapon which is EXTREMELY valuable during long distance firefights due to the ability of silencer to be used as a grenade.

Silenced doesn't hinder the damage though, right? I would always silence mine because it just made sense, it felt more accurate and it's obviously.. silent.
Or you can just use the AK as a Terrorist and get freaking 1 shot kills long distance. That thing is a BEAST if you know how to use it properly.

What I posted is just a joke I saw someone post on CAL forums, I thought it was funny.
Silenced does make your bullets hit a bit softer and do less damage. For distance you want to go unsilenced, for close-range you'd wanna go silenced. But yeah, learn how to control your spray with an AK and you're golden.

YES.
I always hated getting 1 shot killed with an AK (from sniping distance) at the bottom of Aztec near the water / under the bridge. (on CS Source) Then I learned how to properly and regularly quick-burst in fire fights. Ridiculous power and accuracy. Kinda like my penis.
