I guess two months in internet-time is "kind of old", eh?

Eschewing social networking sites really keeps me behind the times... Who the hell am I becoming when I learn about "what's hot online" from TV shows???

*edit*
Pokebis, I just got around to watching that MAD video, and all I have to say is that if this kills all of those memes, then good.

If playing memes on TV actually meant the memes were dead (where dead = not used) then I'd probably submit meme filled scripts to as many people as I could (or just CSPAN) until it was played on television to make the world a better place.

Unfortunately, this just causes faggotry and worship from people who have the fad complex and think this is cool or funny.

And yes, 2 months here is about 12 of your Earth years.

I miss the old "All your base" days back in 2001. I was in High School, and internet memes were new and underground. They were something inclusive to only a few, and felt like an inside joke among the nerd community. Now they're just cheap internet gags.

naw mean?

Yeah the internet circa 1998-2003 was awesome. I enjoyed the old school flash animations and am thankful for them giving me an introduction to "Yatta!"

Now it's just javascripts, stylesheets, and widgets. BRING BACK FRAMES!

Yes, actually. I remember the days when "fail" meant something other than dropping your pencil.
