It's my little way of giving people incentive to play for keepsies. Since everyone makes the playoffs in our league there's no real reason to try until the last 4 weeks of the season and I want people to at least try and do well throughout the season so they can get a bye / a good playoff seed.

There is usually good banter in the chatroom during the draft itself and V actually swear to God shows up every year! In fact draft day is the only day where the people in our league do any real ass interacting with each other, once the season start everyone just kind of silently forgets about the league or shuffles their players around and that's it.
