PSP And the Internet

Post by CaseyDidder »

After about an hour of tinkering with my PSP, look what I made it do.

And for Ho, A little tribute.

OMG IndyDDR on the PSP. I can't wait for the first service update, supposably it will add a bunch of web browsing features so we PSP owners don't have to backdoor our way to the internet. Anybody else try tinkering with their PSP's do a little extra?

I'm wondering when we will be able to use Infrastructure mode on Ridge Racer and Dark Stalkers though, Browsing the internet with the PSP is of course a neat feature if you need to check email or something at a location that supports wireless, but so far its jus a cool novelty.

Anyways, if anybody wants help I might be able to direct them towards being able to do this also.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

anyways -_- back on topic.

There seems to be a website out that has been catering to our cries for a while, specially mine. I find it upsetting that we can't play AD-HOC games via internet, but they have taken that into their own hands. I'll be busting my ass for the next few hours trying to figure out how to setup my Non-Infrastructure games for the internet and see how it works.

Here is the link:

edit: Can't do it at moment, must setup my wireless network, as right now I'm running off a neighbors... lol

Nice. I figured out how to download videos on to it, so now I have a PsPorn. I need a bigger memory stick.

yes, all it is is a custom name server routing of the domain so the page resolves to a local page so you can link to "normal" web pages...no url entering possibilities

It's still too complicated for me, I'm scared I'll mess up something important. All I really want now is a bigger memory stick, and I don't feel like fiddling around with a stick meant for a phone, like Adam's link showed. Do you think I should just look for a cheap one on eBay or will that be not worth it?

I've seen 1g chips out (not generic either) for about 115$. So you should bea ble to get a 512 or 256 pretty cheap, jus depends what you want the bigger chip for.

Also, you can't convert MP3's to ATRAC files on the Duo Pro sticks, so that also might effect your decision on which memory card you wish to buy.
