You know now that I think about it you, Chad, and myself are the only people with normal 9-5 desk jobs.
Pokebis is a child and is going into studying game development

WhiteDragon puts the cookies in the cookie jar for about $10 an hour. Who me? Couldn't be.
BlackCat trains dolphins. Living the dream!
BigBadOrc actually does work a 9-5 trying to think of creative places to put icons in a piece of phone software and he makes a serious fuckton of cash.
MonMotha has the rare luxury of knowing enough EE shit to the point where he can pull off the coveted "appeal to authority" fallacy to all the laymen out there and exploit that opportunity for personal gain. In the corporate world we like to call this "consulting" but MonMotha can do it so well that he doesn't need a boss or an organization who would make a margin off MonMotha in exchange for providing him with customers.
Man, fuck, it's crazy the amount of fucking money businesses have. MonMotha could charge an exorbitant rate for his services (300+ an hour) and a business wouldn't even bat an eye because that shit is chump change to them. My salary represents slightly less than 0.2% of yearly revenue. That is less than a single percent. That is less than one half of a single percent.
Hell, BigBadOrc, the salary winner of IndyDDR, is making his company a lot more money than he is for himself.

Actually, I didn't start college until January 2010. (Kind of had a job for six years prior to that consisting of me getting sent to the shittiest corners of the Earth.)
Memorable 2016 quotes:

I'm unemployed by choice--spending a year riding my bicycle by day and hanging out in Chinese hotel rooms at night. And I only have a CCNP, but good try.
But training dolphins... that sounds cool. Maybe I should get into that next.
The five years I was in Japan I lived somewhat frugally, biking everywhere and not buying stuff. Yeah, I bought a Wii and upgraded my computer a bit, but if I did spend money on stuff it was most likely for my bike. Some time ago I decided that I'd rather spend my money on experiences rather than stuff.
Learning to cook, not having a car, and refraining from buying stuff goes a long way towards putting money in the bank.
