Producer got ahold of me (I'm the only DIT in indiana apparently, not complaining) he needs a DIT (camera and data tech/management) mon and tues, $900 per day

Great timing as my health issues have taken a turn for the constant pain. I think I'm going to do it anyway, I'll mostly be posted up at my workstation on location at a golf course all day as PA's run drives back and forth from the camera to me for offload. If I can't make it he has to fly someone in and he's really not wanting to do that :/

How far we've come...

I remember watching CTVN back in the mid-90s.

CTVN was bought by Ziff-Davis and became ZDTV. ZDTV was re-branded as TechTV which was acquired by Comcast and merged with G4 to become G4TechTV which, to no one's surprise, quickly dropped most of the TechTV content and re-branded as simply G4 which became a pile of crap (my opinion only). Good riddance.

Now, can I please have CTVN back?
