Re: Merk vs. IndyDDR: Double trouble
Correct, B2UOG challenge for this week and then Max 300 for the 28th. I'm a big dumb baby and for the purposes of this thread weeks go from Monday to Monday. I'm not too thrilled to do Max300 doubles as next week's song either so I am a-okay with giving Dave the veto and saving it for another week!

Re: Merk vs. IndyDDR: OG brothers holla @ filet mignon
I just thought of another reason not to do MAX300 yet: I'll be in California next week. While I'm sure I'll have opportunities to play DDR, I can't get too excited about dumping money into playing a song I'm almost assured to repeatedly fail when there is a high probability I can dump my money into things I'll actually enjoy and don't get to play very often.

Oh yeah that's right you're doing that K-pop thing!

Nah, I changed my mind.Merk wrote:If you really want us to Max 300 doubles then we can do it next week! It's not a whole lot harder than the singles chart as long as you bar rape.

Re: Merk vs. IndyDDR: OG brothers holla @ filet mignon
Too bad you don't have access to 3rd or 4th Mix so we could do a Korean song while I'm off in California seeing K-pop. (Of course I may not have access to those in California either.)

Well, BRIAN, if I knew how to slap a 573 into Brandon's machine I could easily put a Korean DDR mix in!

Haven't had a chance to play much thanks to me trying to one up Riot in D3. Once I hit 60 I'll let people catch up and spend my free time playing DDR. I will more than likely play tomorrow night and have a score for you on Friday.
This is a tricky chart!

19 greats + 1 NC is the best I could come up with. I really, really, really like this chart. It's like the 150bpm Exotic Ethnic of doubles!
Because you see the actual Exotic Ethnic doubles chart is nothing like its singles counterpart.

OK, stop it Merk. You are not authorized to touch the inside of my machine under any circumstances. Got it?
You obviously don't know what you're doing in there, and I don't want you screwing anything up. That Supernova hardware isn't exactly replaceable.
Also, there's a driver update for your minimaid. If you get it, you'll probably find that 32nd and whatever notes work much better. Like I've told you before, it's never been a hardware problem, just the driver. That driver is available from RyogAkari now, or I can hand it to you if you prefer.

A normality test:

If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

Thanks Brandon, I got the new drivers from the one website I'll slap the new drivers on there and verify if things are any better. I'm curious, did anyone else complain about dropped 32nd or was it just me?
I won't touch the innards of your machine
glad to have an answer in writing.

Just gave it a cursory go and it is *much* better - thank you. I didn't play a whole lot songs but I didn't get any clearly bullshit drops at the end of Children's Sketchbook when I played it.
It's not perfect, I tend to still get a drop at the beginning of a fast roll, but it seems like now I'll be a lot less stonewalled in getting better and clearing hard songs due to pad (driver) drops. You can tell a big difference when scrolling through the song wheel using the pads, before you would get noticeable jerky rotation through the songlist but now it's smooth.

Brian I hope you are having a good time in California but I need you to play this awesome doubles chart when you get back so we can get a new song lined up. GOT IT?
