Did you play the DS version? I logged some hours in that one and wouldn't mind comparing to yours. Penis contest.ImuyumI wrote:I'm replaying Geometry Wars 2.
Someone on my Xbox friends list gloated about beating one of my scores, so I took him down by stomping his score. Now, he has a personal vendetta against me and is trying to beat all my scores. I told him it's possible to beat my scores, but I'll really tip my hat off to him if he beats my Pacifist score. That's my pride & joy.

Well I mostly play it because Geometry Wars on the DS was a great way to burn a few minutes while poopin' on the terlet before I had a smartphone.ImuyumI wrote:Oh, so that's why you play it, so you have a chance
The stylus control is actually pretty nifty.

Back into G Wars again due to this guy trying to boast his greatness over me. I gladly bumped my new 21 million Evolved score over his 19. Still trying to improve Deadline. Pacifism is still untouched.

I posted a documentary about the making of this game a long time ago. It looks really really cool, but probably too frustrating for me. I like some little puzzles, but the ones that make you think to the point of frustration (especially not knowing if you can even solve the puzzle at the moment or if you have the right tools for example) aren't my favorite. This still looks pretty dang sweet and inventive.

My buddy Chris got this and he says he friggen loves it so take that as you will. He never plays games but he says the art style and music are really relaxing.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Speaking of Chris I saw Kickle Cubicle at this used game store and really had the urge to play it and Smartball. I remember all the point n click adventure games like Roger Wilco and Phantasmagoria over there too. Man, the good ol' days of sleepovers were awesome.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I too will always associate those games with Chris, especially Kickle Cubicle.
Chad and I sort of have a sleepover every night but he sleeps while I work and I sleep while he works so it's not all that interesting. We get to chit-chat when he gets home from work and I am grilling my lunch/dinner before work and that's sort of fun.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I've read a lot of sources claiming the creator, Phil Fish, is a real elitist jerk.

That's enough for me to spend my time and money playing something else. There are plenty of other great games out there, after all. I'm really on the fence about this game.
