k, sorry I've been lazy but I've finally updated the OP for Trip Machine ~Luv Mix~ this week. I can't really explain why (because I don't know) but this is my favorite Trip Machine and the one I do the best on.
Also, I have to say that your weight loss is evident and you were looking good when I saw you this weekend at The FP. Good job...keep it up!
Well thank you! I weighed myself last weekend fully expecting to have gained a couple of pounds since I hadn't had a chance to play DDR that much and I've been eating like a fat ass but I've surprisingly dropped a little bit of weight since whenever the last time I had weighed myself was. I'm consistently under two hundos now and with water weight out of the picture I can eek out a 195. Since I'm not doing anything this weekend I'm considering getting a membership with Cardinal Fitness down in Bloomington to work on lifting and shit. It's like I've come full circle all over again.

And this thread has most definitely helped.

I'm certainly not picking songs with the thought of actually winning. :P

I played Trip Machine ~luv mix~ a few times tonight. I wasn't playing all that well in general, but I finally managed a 25 with 5 non-combos. That's at least better than what I had in DD:recall from 2010, so I guess it's not terribly off from what I might be able to do if playing didn't HURT LIKE I'M 37 YEARS OLD like it did tonight.

Anyway, how about 3,2,1 Stars for this next go around? No good reasoning behind that. I just looked at a song list and it was near the top...you know, starting with numbers and all.

Not gonna lie, I kinda had to whore out Trip Machine this week for an entire set of 5 songs. For some reason I kept getting 11 to 15 greats but when I finally played it on Extra Stage of all songs I got it down to 6. Back when Extreme was the big thing I could SDG it pretty darn consistently.

I am down with 321 Stars. I can't remember if the chart is awful or not but I do know that the IIDX chart is no picnic.

I was able to eek out thirteen. I might give it another go tomorrow if I'm up for it!

Do we have a song on deck?

Weren't courses supposed to be a part of this? We haven't done any of those. Should we?

I don't know what courses (if any) are common to Extreme, SuperNOVA, SuperNOVA2, and/or X2. As usual, I have X2 installed right now, so if there's a course in it that you and I can both play, that would be the easiest. However, I wouldn't be against putting Extreme in for a bit since I actually have that marquee installed at the moment. But if the only commonality we're going to find is on SuperNOVA2, I can probably do that, too. It's just that that hardware is so heavy and I'm feeling weak and lazy. :P

If I recall, there are almost no courses that are the same between Extreme and Supernova. I only really know about the Oni courses and the two off the top of my head that I know are the same are (old) Paranoia Brothers, Midnight Blue, and I think Love RevenG. I'm pretty sure there isn't a single Nonstop that is the same but I could be very wrong. I have no idea what courses are on X2 and I'm pretty sure you can't play them anyway without eAmuse.

I want to get Extreme set up on Brandon's cab as well but it's going to take me a bit to find the time to do so. Did we want to try just doing a song in the meantime since that's easier? I'm pretty sure if you install Extreme then the only thing we could do is Oni courses anyway.
