Beat the Supernova version of the Love RevenG Oni course while I was out doing the songs for this week.

Matsuri Japan (Max2 remix)
Afronova (Max2 remix)
Tsugaru (Max2 oni remix)
Orion.78 (Ameuro mix)
Exotic Ethnic

I got one random ass good on a 1/4 note on Tsugaru but other than that it was a full combo. Holy balls is Exotic Ethnic hard when you're fat and you just finished four songs before it.

Welp with that being said let's get another song for this week! Someone other than Brian is going to have to take on song picking duties. NEXT MAN UP

Brian is gone, let's use this thread to talk shit about him.

I had an awful fucking time this week playing DDR. I played like shit and fucked up my Oni course attempts (failed Afronova on the new World Tour course and failed Secret Rendevous on Midnight Blue). I full comboed Orion.78 -Civilization Mix- but did not AA it if that gives you an idea of how shitty I played.

Twinbee is one of those songs that everyone does well on that I struggle to SDG. I think it's because the beginning little chip-tune part has nothing to do with the beat of the song and thus I have to guess where the first arrow is going to land in relation to the beat. That and 12th notes seemed to have gotten the shaft in Supernova which leads to greats at the end. DDR has always been bad with triplets but it's especially bad in Supernova.

I'm going to Fort Wayne this week and will probably have limited access to Supernova unless Riot and Co. want to go play, otherwise my DDRing will be on the Stepmania cabinet at Putt-Putt. Let's let Brian catch up this week and let me get a good score on Twinbee before we move on.

Or you can all pick a song. I dun give a fuh.

I always like to think of the 2MB songs as a giant Shuffle Shuffle Revolution fest.

Little Merk, I will play with you. Brennon will be in town as well and I imagine he might be up for playing as well.

Hell yeah, let's all go play that sounds like a lot of fun actually. I like to think I'm a bit better than the last time we played - I certainly don't get as tired as easily.

Oh I also updated my weight in the OP. I was 203.4 this morning so with water weight and whatnot I'm probably around 206 now.

OK the best I could muster was 11 greats on Chad's machine last Friday.

I have all the time in the world this week to do whatever so I'm gonna need a new song to play. Any picks?!

In recognition/appreciation/celebration of the snow falling outside, I would like to do Burning Heat.

Okay! We will do that and we both combine for 200+ greats and it will be neat!

Re: Merk vs. IndyDDR: What do this song and Orion.78 share?

Post by Ho »

The weather/season actually made me think of Silent Hill or White Lovers, but we burned the former weeks ago and the latter didn't make it to SuperNOVA, so I decided to go the opposite direction. :P
