I want to enroll. When I was in Elementary School we did nothing of value. What a waste.
EDIT: Not being sarcastic. I really do feel cheated out of a worthwhile education from grades 6-10. I remember very little, and had no opportunity to work on any projects beyond daily homework and waste of time dioramas.

I hope you're doing your civic duty and telling your kids to apply to Canterbury for high school.Riot wrote:guys watch the video I'm famous

Re: [Grubb's] Random Thoughts of the Day
I watched the video without sound for two seconds and saw Riot's smug fucking face and all I could think about was how angry I get at Marvel before I clicked out of the video.Riot wrote:guys watch the video I'm famous

Now that I know what to expect I'll see if I can watch it with sound and without rage.

SWAC is probably one of the top 4 districts in the state. I'm sure Canterbury is great and all, but at over $12,000 a year, I'd much rather send them to Homestead. Smart kids are smart kids anywhere, and HHS certainly has the rigor to help kids succeed at high levels. Money doesn't equal talent... many Canterbury kids that have moved over to our school certainly haven't been that strong comparatively. But anyways, probably shouldn't be talking about all this here!SoDeepPolaris wrote:I hope you're doing your civic duty and telling your kids to apply to Canterbury for high school.Riot wrote:guys watch the video I'm famous

I was mostly joking. A lot of kids in my class at Cbury haven't done anything with the massive amounts of opportunities handed to them. Doesn't matter what school you go to if you're lazy, sniff coke in the locker room and go to CStreet on weeknights.Riot wrote:SWAC is probably one of the top 4 districts in the state. It's always seemed to me that Cbury, HHS and maybe Northrop are quite a bit above the other schools in Ft. Wayne in terms of academics, regardless. I don't have numbers to support that claim. A lot of it is probably from my speech team years and tournaments.
I really love CS:GO's 64 tick servers.

I went to Homestead and the only thing it ever did for me was get me banned from Putt-Putt.

Riot, you are "just the best."
As a side note, when I saw "Stuck to Technology", I read it as "Suck It Technology."

Um... given that this is the Riot that we all know and love in this video, I can't help but feel like this video is either the greatest troll ever, or proof that we are now officially in bizarro world.

Riot is a real nice guy but people on the internet are oftentimes wayyyyy too fucking sensitive and prideful to take a goodhearted ribbing.
