That's not the point. I'm not the one just making wild generalizations about what may or may not work.
The biggest issue about getting parts for these machines--even "standard" ones--is that they are usually metric and difficult to obtain here in the US of A. Not impossible...but often not as simple as just going to the store.
I stayed home sick from work today. It just so happened that 4 packages were delivered. 2 required my signature. I have the PC for stepmania, RAM, case, mobo and video card. Gonna get things ready for Friday.
Do you have the hard drive? That looks like everything you'll need sans Minimaid and Stepmania shit (but that's a no-brainer).
I will get everything set up for you in-between DM sets but obviously we won't be able to test if everything works without the Minimaid BEEF 573. But hey, maybe I'll see if we can get video at least rolling on it by using my Minimaid since that's pretty much the hardest part - I'll try to get it in a true Plug 'n' Play state for you.
Please don't be sick Friday. God damn it please don't be sick.
This is the original machine from GameWorks circa 2000. It is indeed the machine at the center of what would become IndyDDR. It is also the first machine I ever saw or played on.
Da Butt Hut is now an important place in the grand history of IndyDDR. It holds that which started this whole fiasco. It is the alpha and the omega, asses to asses, butts to butts.
But seriously that's kind of neat and I'm glad the machine didn't get shipped to some shitty arcade where it could have drinks spilled on it and communities started around it. How ironic that it didn't fall into the hands of the guy that literally has almost every Bemani game in his basement and loves to own shit for the novelty factor.
Please promise me you won't cut wires in the cabinet or alter it in any way that you wouldn't be able to return it to its original functioning order.
All I plan to do is drill some holes in the side to make room for a USB port so we can play R21 ITG BABY DRAGONFORCE BEASTMODE ENGAGED. This is the dawn of IndyITG.
I don't plan on altering the cabinet besides cleaning it up and putting a PC on one of the sides to play Stepmania. No drilling, cutting, or perma-modding required.
That reminds me wasn't there like a NorthwestIndianaDDR.com or something at one point? They were literally the Confederacy and now they've disappeared into the ether. I'm pretty sure there were some good players from there back in the day too. Now the best players are a bunch of obscure kids from Evansville that all post on AIJ.
Oh look it's Josh and Jon. Is that Grubb in the background? Wasn't he a pedophile or really creepy or something? For some reason whenever he comes up I think of him as having a less than dubious reputation.
Oh nostalgia! When you guys were doing matrix walks I was plugging away at the Trick chart for Afronova trying to do the jump part backwards because all the cool kids played the game facing away from the screen.
