Re: Merk vs. IndyDDR: Silent Hill or Silent Hill? Silent Hill!
Brian you are one silly guy and the songs you pick are all winners.
Despite the fact I was practically sitting on a DDR machine Thursday / Friday I was too busy and too frustrated trying to get my DM shit to work to actually play some DDR. My friends wanted to play Diablo II on Saturday so I did that and Footbaw takes up all hours of the mall on Sunday.
In any case, I have some catching up to do this week! In an effort to keep things moving right along, let's get a song picked so I can kill two birds with one proverbial stone.

Re: Merk vs. IndyDDR: Pick a spooOOOoooky song
Too bad Spooky isn't in DDR. It would be an appropriate pick. Although Halloween is actually next week, most of next week falls after it, so I guess this week is more "spirited."
I'll have to give some thought into DDR songs that are spooky.

5.1.1 is kind of haunting IMO but I don't know if it's on Supernova (because Supernova sucks, eh Chad? loooooooooooool)

These are my suggestions:
.59
5.1.1
Across the nightmare
.59
5.1.1
Across the nightmare

Re: Merk vs. IndyDDR: Pick a spooOOOoooky song
There was a pretty fun song I had on stepmania called Halloween, but I suppose that just won't do unless you wanna break the format and play with keyboards for this week! I think Across the Nightmare is fitting... Or Maxx Unlimited with that nice "fear" pause in the middle, but I suppose we are all too brittle for that.

You fukken nub "Legend of MaxX" is the one with "FEAR!" in the middle. God you are so nub.
I will let Brian give his input before settling on a choice for the week.

Re: Merk vs. IndyDDR: Pick a spooOOOoooky song
That's what I meant. I realized right after I posted but it's annoying to go back and edit on my phone so I didn't. There is some spooky stalker guy in that song too, plus it's a max song so it is intimidating and scaaaaawy.

Re: Merk vs. IndyDDR: Pick a spooOOOoooky song
Bloody Tears has Gothic themes in the video I guess...
Oh, and PARANOiA ~HADES~ is pretty haunting. lololololol

We can do Legend of Maxx, but I will be posting a fail and probably triple-digit non-combos.
Across the Nightmare has a spooky-ish name, but the song itself isn't all that spooky, imo.
I guess 5.1.1 is kind of spooky sounding, but it seems like a bit of a stretch.
How about Healing Vision? It has spooky wailing sounds and an ominous slowdown in the middle with heartbeats.

Re: Merk vs. IndyDDR: Pick a spooOOOoooky song
Well okay we'll do Healing Vision because you asked us to!

Re: Merk vs. IndyDDR: I guess visions that heal are spooky
I didn't actually ask us to. I was just extolling the spooky virtues of the song.
But that's fine with me...Healing Vision it is!
Although I was suggesting the original Healing Vision, not the X-Special that you put as the banner image on the OP. I don't think any of us have access to the X-Special unless we were going to take a trip down to Tilt.

Re: Merk vs. IndyDDR: I guess visions that heal are spooky
Yeah that's the best image I could find on Google Image Search unfortunately. I guess everyone is boners for HVAM and didn't want to give any love to the neat 5th mix song.

Re: Merk vs. IndyDDR: I guess visions that heal are spooky
HVAM isn't as spooky sounding.
How about go to the source for a Healing Vision image?
