Isn't that the amount you start a game with? How did you do after that?

I haven't been shopping in awhile! I'm sort of a cheap guy and it doesn't take much to make me happy. I want to save up a bit so I can go on a couple of vacations next year and if those don't pan out I might weasel my way into the DDR cabinet market so I can own another game that I can't store anywhere. Or maybe I can do the responsible thing and save up for a house or a new car or something but fuck that.

Working part-time, having cheap as shit rent, and collecting unemployment are some of the best decisions I ever made in my life.

Higher tax bracket forced me to contribute much of my earnings to the other players' public goods.

Love this picture. Look at this cross-eyed McFeely looking motherfucker. The expression on the other guy's face is priceless.

If anyone out there wants to practice IPv4 subnetting...

If you can do ten of these in a row without fucking up then you've pretty much mastered subnetting.

Merk didn't you live there? What if he was in your old room and the constant ghost tap-tap-tapping of your IIDX fingers drove him insane in the membrane.

You do know that the whole "reserve the first and last address" thing is kinda passe now, right? People stopped doing that, when possible (since Windows kinda insists on it) about 3-4 years ago when IP addresses got hard to come by. IPv6 has never done it, though it's still somewhat of a convenient convention to at least reserve the first address.
A normality test:
+++ATH
If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

I lived at the end of the hallway on Beck 4, room 406 to be exact. My room was exactly one floor down from where that picture was taken, first room on the left. I never had anyone complain about me playing Beet when I lived at Read - probably because there were already a bunch of people pounding on doors, dribbling basketballs down the hallway, and pulling fire alarms at 3:00am.

No I did not know that! I don't know shit about networking, I'm just trying to get a piece of paper by passing a test.

As my birthday approaches I've come to grips with my own mortality. To be frank it sometimes keeps me up at night knowing that there will be a finality to everything I have ever done and an end to everything I will become. There will be a last hour, minute, breath, taste, DDR song, sight, smell, and thought - the most horrifying part about this is not that I won't see it coming, but rather I won't even be given the chance to reflect and appreciate my last moments in life. My heart will stop and I will fall asleep looking down the edge of forever by my lonesome. I go through life naively believing that my youth will last, my brain will always function, no one I know will die, and that I will see this world til its end. I delude myself in harboring thoughts that there just might be a life after death - a consciousness beyond our understanding - but I know that that line of thinking is for children and that the world will forget I ever existed.

I am halfway up the hill, but for me it might as well be a cliff.
