Re: [Grubb's] Random Thoughts of the Day
Wake up and go to school in one hour.
Be at school be at school seven hours.
Go home and go to work in one hour.
Be at work for six and a half hours.
Get home, eat food.
2.5 hours left before bed time.
2.5 hours of actual day.
Wait, so this is what work is like?

Yeah pretty much but instead you're at work for 9 hours of the day, you probably have around an hour of commute because of traffic, you have to get ready for work for at least 30 minutes - an hour and a half if you want to make and eat a good breakfast, oftentimes you'll stay late at work getting shit done, then you'll have some sort of errand to run whether it be groceries or something, then you'll have about 3 hours to do shit you actually want to do assuming you get a good night's rest in, and then you do it all again the next day.
Everybody's working for the weekend.

But I'm working during the weekend.
Also, I don't care about a "good" breakfast or whatever, I'll just poor a bowl of cereal and be done with it.

been having constant debilitating pain every time I eat or drink anything for the past year or so, every test in the world has come back negative and no diagnostician has been able to figure it out. however we finally made it to the point of just having an exploratory surgery which ended up being the thing to do if you didn't already see - http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid= ... 4284933231

I'd still probably just eat cereal even if I had a good amount of money. Unless I had enough money to get somebody to prepare it for me.SoDeepPolaris wrote:That's perfect.Pokebis wrote:But I'm working during the weekend.

Potter I hope that resolves all the goofy issues you were having. One of these days I hope you can teach me how to dunk a basketball.
During my long tenure at Apparatus I never ate breakfast which was retarded. Of course I valued my sleep so much and since I lived so close I would wake up 20 minutes before I had to come in to work. Nowadays I enjoy a nice little Protein Plus PowerBar during my morning commute and another one on my lunch break.
God I want to lose weight so bad.

I'm still in adolescent metabolism mode so I can eat what I want and stay in the thin/fit range. I don't really have fat on my body, but my upper body strength is kind of low. I don't really want beefy arms, though, I already hit enough things with just my watch.

I knew I would forget (roflflflf) since 9/11 falls on a Sunday and that's the first Sunday of the NFL season.

Re: [Grubb's] Random Thoughts of the Day
Copy/paste of an e-mail I sent to the ladyfriend:
I don't know how I feel about this situation. On one hand it'll take away my glorious 4 day weekends and it'll put a kink in to my beloved DDR schedule. However, I can't draw unemployment forever and financially it will be best for me in the long run. If they extend some sort of offer to me I feel obligated to take it because I really have no excuse not to. Yes, I am honestly debating whether or not I should be lazy.
Of course this is all conjecture and nothing serious could come of this, but I like to hear people's opinions about my life.
Normally I don't work Thursday / Friday but one of the heads of the help desk here asked me to come in to help out. Of course today they aren't busy at all so I haven't done a whole lot - but they seemed to appreciate me coming in. Lately I've been assisting the help desk out on a number of tickets and I think they've started to notice.I think they want me to work here full time.
The head of the help desk went into Adrian’s office, I overheard him say “Hey I have a question for you – well more like a discussion…” and then he proceeded to close the door, a good 10 minutes later the help desk guy left Adrian’s office laughing a joking about something. Adrian came up to me about 5 minutes later (this never happens) and asked if I was going to be taking grad school classes this year. I told him no and that I’ll work on getting my CCNA instead since classes are really expensive and there’s no guarantee that I’ll have marketable skills.
He said that he was thinking about grad school too, he agreed with the way I felt and then ended the conversation with, “Well there’s a reason why I asked you that but I can’t exactly talk about it now.”
So either I’m getting fired or they want me to officially moonlight on the help desk in a more serious fashion.
