10 years?
I was wondering if IndyDDR has ever had a ten year celebration of sorts. I really enjoyed the magnitude of Potterpalooza and I'd be really interested in having another large gathering like that. Think there's something we could plan for a couple weeks down the road?

It's true. IndyDDR turns 10 this year.
I had been thinking about doing something for it, but I didn't think there'd be much interest/participation and, frankly, I just don't devote a lot of time to IndyDDR myself anymore.
However, after the success of Potterpalooza, I think maybe I should reconsider...

I think Friday proved we can still throw a bash, even if it takes a little advance notice these days. =] I would of course be partial to throwing another big thing at Tilt, but I'm a little biased there. Mainly because it's hard for me to get week-ends off and that way I can work and still be with everyone. But this isn't about me. ;D I digress...
Somewhere that there are arcade games, food, and lots of space. Anyone up for planning this thing?

This definitely sounds like an awesome idea.

How much longer are you in Indy? Should we get the ball rolling and fire this off before you leave forever?Potter wrote:do eeet

it doesn't really matter, as long as it's decently big/fruitful I won't have a problem driving back down to indy for it, I'm going to be back and forth a lot

Yep, hard to believe I've been here and playing DDR since 2002 or so, when I thought it would just be a time-killer until Final Fantasy XI came out haha. It's weird to think that I've almost been on IndyDDR half my life... well, closer to a third, but still. I'm old.

Maybe we could do something in the wake of Brian's birthday -- first or second weekend of March anyone?

Well you are the only person I know whose birthday celebration draws people from other countries. =]Ho wrote:Wake...heh.
It's good to know my birth causes that much displacement.
