DJ Hero Thread

Post by Fluffyumpkins » Tue Oct 27, 2009 12:31 pm

Just picked up the PS2 version. Can't wait to bring it home and try it out. From the demo, the game looks pretty fun. Anyone else going out to buy the game today?

I'm definitely interested in seeing how well this does. The main thing that stops me from getting it is price ($120 is pretty steep) and long term viability. Most of the people I've talked to have also shared concerns about the controller not having enough weight for the fader and turntable which hopefully can be adjusted by popping the controller open and modding it.

I played it yesterday, and it was fun. However, it wasn't fun enough to justify the $120 price tag. :/

I agree. It is stupid expensive. Just the same, the reviews have been great so far. If the set list is as good as what was in the demo, I will be quite pleased.

What I've seen of the full game shows mixes that are notibly superior to what is in the demo. (Then again, I'm a pretty big fan of DJ Shadow and Daft Punk.) With this in mind, I am very interested in switching the turntable to the left side (Apparently this can be done) and giving it a try.
