You know that you can order an extended platform for putting in a bar right? (This is mentioned on the frontpage actually.) If you didn't and you already did the order then that's rather unfortunate, but you can also get a chair to use if you have one tall enough or build your own bar to make it happen.

A metal pad without a bar just doesn't feel right. I barely ever use the bar, but it's always nice to be able to fall back on one.

"If you would like the extended platform version of the Nexen pad, simply include that you would like the extended version in the comment section of the order."

So I'll probably do that. In other news, I hate fedex. The first time I got a package from them, they left it on my doorstep and it got stolen. The second time they left it on my doorstep again and I got it, thankfully. In the last week they tried to deliver my pump pad twice but I wasn't there so they just left a note on my door and that's it. I guess they don't understand the concept of an apartment office

But after driving a half hour down town, and waiting a half hour for them to bring out my pad, I now have a shiny new pump pad. It's pretty hot.

when is your nexen pad arriving? Load up a lot of videos I want to see it, or maybe i'll come over and test it or something, Mymybox is being ridiculous with their bluesharks. Also haven't replied to any of my questions through email 3 times now.

I'm just curious when this pad will honestly be getting restocked. The website says the new shipment will arrive sometime in May or June, but an "exact date will be coming soon!" The website has been saying that for a long time now, what is the exact date? Why is it taking so long for these new pads to arrive? I'm considering spending my money elsewhere due to this ridiculous waiting time.

Due to a few modifications that have been made to the pads, manufacturing has been slower than anticipated for these pads. Due to unpredictable shipping conditions, it is not possible to predict exact when these pads will be arriving. We apologize for this inconvenience and hope to have these pads soon.

Hopefully these "few modifications" include a stabilized bar.

One question Orc, how good is the pump platform? If it's good enough I'll definitely look into getting one for myself.

Well.. the pump pad took about a week to get here, and I haven't ordered the nexen yet.. but i could order it today or monday probably.

the pump pad is very nice. it's twice as thick as my old afterburner and the buttons are very responsive. actually, the bottom left button is a little too responsive.. it sometimes registers a double tap when you hit it once. oh, and the buttons aren't quite as recessed as i thought they'd be.. i barely notice the recession. i think that's easy to fix though.. i saw the flux in bloomington with little plastic sheets to raise up the non buttons a little.

And I'm going to try to get this pump pad raised up a little and get a bar attached.. if whitedragon helps me o.O
