Beatmania accomplishments

So, I decided to try playing some bm on my laggy LCD screen today, and, to my pleasant surprise, it wasn't nearly as laggy as I remembered. It was definitely playable, and after a little while getting used to it, I actually managed to re-AAA era L7 with a PC, which, on my screen, is like god score. Especially after not playing for, oh, say, 9 or 10 months?

Holy shit! I cleared my first 9* song today! (I haven't even cleared an 8 yet!) How come nobody told me Music To Your Head [a] had such an easy ending haha? I got a B on it, with a normal clear.

I also managed to AA Course 4 on Heavy, which felt pretty decent.
And I'm only 35 EX away from AAing era 7k, which I haven't even managed to pass yet...I am getting closer though. I expect that if I keep playing, era and Holic 7k are both going to be cleared within a few days.

Humor moment.

Since the beginning of my experience with Beatmania, I have always tried to AAA Fly Through the Night L7. I could never do it, and I've tried repeatedly over and over again to beat it. Well, today, I had a goal. And on the third try, I got my 300th AAA.



Why did I use Beatmania US? Nostalgia, because it's on how I learned how to play this game in the first place.

Got a new clear today!
After never even really getting close to clearing era 7k, I played it twice today. The first time I ended with 74% bar (AGH!) and the second time I finished with a cool 100% bar (woohoo!). And it's only -26 from the AA, to boot!
I also got a really hot score on V L7 (553/85/7/0/2) and am a painful ONE EX AWAY from the AA on Attitude 7k.
Holic and Presto are looking like my tentative next clears.

An astonishing two new clears today (neither are the ones I predicted, lol)!
I decided to try my luck at the Another folder, since I don't usually play too much of it, and my decision was rewarded!

Digital MinD [a] CLEARED (A, -38 from the AA!)

And that's about it for now...hmm, wonder when I'll start getting new AAAs again?
