having some flash drive issues

Post by ITGMS Mike »

so for some reason, all the songs on my flash drive are not showing up on the machine. it has a few of them, but skips like 20 of them. any ideas on whats wrong and how to fix?

yes - there is a time limit on the flash drive's loading time. it loads as many as it can in a certain time and then it just quits. so put less songs on your drive.

well, that and make sure they're ogg and sm files.

it's probably a problem with the songs you're trying to load up then. if they're .sm and .ogg, open up the .sm and see if it has a link to the .ogg file.

you could post a link to your files and i'll try to get them to work since i'm prolly going to rascals on saturday

do all ITG machines load songs from the flashdrive?

I'm assuming that's what you're talking about...

only machines that have been updated to r21 or later, and have the "Custom Songs" feature enabled by the operator

well, after careful examination. i looked at the sm files to see that some of them were linked to mp3 songs. so i changed them. and now they're all back. yay! but not all of the songs that didnt show up were like that. some that didnt show up, were still linked to an ogg file?
