An ITG cabinet running DDR? Do you mean an ITG2 dedicated cabinet? If so, that is indeed quite bizarre. If you mean ITG1, there were no dedicated ITG (1) cabinets.
ITG (1) was exclusively DDR machines converted to ITG (which is what got them sued by Konami in the first place). Some of those machines have since been converted back to DDR but still retain some of the ITG decals and whatnot. Ft. Wayne has an example of a machine like this.
