Why do customers feel the need to be assholes and take their frustrations out on employees who have the purpose of providing helpful services to customers and are typically only the messengers and collectors of company policy?
I really love CS:GO's 64 tick servers.

Oh and to answer your question, some people like to have someone or something to blame for their problems, and even though you're not the source of their problems, you sure are the next best thing.
