I still don't really like the fact that they're not keeping the flat arrow colors like Pump has always had. However, I'm quite intrigued, and would definitely like to play it.

I've heard that it's just a cheap rip-off and not very good. Having said that, I would like to play it.

Katy, Mike and I (and possibly Fluffy) are going to go on a road trip to St. Peter, Missouri to go and try out the Pump it Up Pro, so you all will have a good review about it when we get back....but that won't be for a while.

Since it got bumped...

The screen is also available running NX, though it just stretches the normally 4:3 content of NX to widescreen.

The screen also lags, from everybody I've talked to. Apparently Pro does attempt to re-sync the arrows to compensate, but grading feedback is still delayed. I've not played on an FX cabinet, so I can't personally comment on how laggy it is, but in my mind it's a perfect example of Andamiro's normally poorly thought out design decisions.
A normality test:

If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

same

pump pro is hilarious because it's called "pro" yet it's leagues easier than the original pump.

also the music selection is bland and generic like ITG's (i wonder why), and it has none of the awesome graphics/background videos that PIU had.

this should be called "pump lite".

Have you played the game? There are some REALLY tough charts in the game. By that, I mean I would rather play Chimera CZ than some of the ones on the final build. The background videos are still there. Also, you should check out Ward's new music: http://www.kyle-ward.com

No, i have not played the game, i have seen most of the CZ charts, the two videos that I was linked to in this topic had nowhere near the interesting backgrounds of most PIU songs.

They were just random backgrounds, just like ITG, basically.

I have not seen pump pro approach anywhere near the difficulty of something like this;

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtS0uK8pKCo

also, as stated in another topic, all of kyle ward's music sounds the same to me and is not anywhere near something i'd want to listen to on or off the game. so it's mostly just personal taste.
