It's almost complete, we live in a military state.

This nation will never allow itself to become a "military state."

Won't it? We're already jumping at our own shadows at the word 'terror,' and get all riled up when someone says 'patriotism.' A good portion of this nation would readily sell out our rights in the name of security.aspen wrote:For what? Indiana to become a military state? LMAO!Potter wrote:wait a few years

That aside, the only real militia these days is the national guard, which is....well, yep, controlled by the government too.
This isn't like the revolutionary days when the public can rise up and disband a governing body if they overstep their bounds. Besides, even if there was a revolution (social or violent), those involved would simply be labeled terrorists by the government and hunted down. And, with the patriot act in place, that's a very easy thing to do.

Game Jew's video (whose name I can't say without laughing and losing a boner) does show some extremely good footage of the protest. As a spanish speaker, the most common thing I've ever talked about with immigrants is this very subject; worker's rights and the man bringing them down. Not all of them have a negative outlook on the system, and most appreciate the opportunity over the shithole that is south of the border.
That said, this video very poorly shows both sides of the story. The military's use of force being displayed was set in action for a reason, and that hotty Game Jew never went to authorities or the news for an official's reasoning behind their thwarting of the protest.
There are two sides to every story, show them.

no shammers, there isn't. google it. they were VERY PEACEFULLY PROTESTING. it started when a group of the supporters where standing in the middle of the place doing nothing harmful whatsoever, and riot cops broke it up by riding right through it on they're motorcycles. look it up shammers

But seriously... the idea of the public overthrowing the gov't sounds like a crazy one when you take a look at the power of our military. It'd be the equivalent of killing an ant with your shoe.

Exactly. What makes it even worse, is certain powers within the government trying to ban the public from owning weapons of any sort. The Brady Bill against 'assault weapons' is a prime example.
This bands any weapon with a bayonet attachment, and magazines with more than 10 rounds. Right, so limiting our access to automatics wasn't enough...now we can't even have semi-autos?
They say it's to 'prevent crime,' but when you look at things historically, none of the big violent crimes have been commited with 'assault weapons.' So, are they really trying to ban weapons that criminals don't use, and expect us to believe that it's for the sole purpose of saving us from violent crime?
Hell, even the VT shootings were done with 9mm handguns. Not some fancy ass military assault rifle.
