Religion's battles with evolution has always amused me, and this video caps it up pretty nicely.

Wait, so you're agreeing with Mr. Garrison?

Wow...
I really love CS:GO's 64 tick servers.

Wow...
That's Mrs.* Garrison.

And no, I'm not in agreement; but that little schpeel does help one understand why it's so hard for some to believe the theory of evolution. Depending on how it was taught and by whom, your perception of it may be completely warped. Or, in this case, hilarious.

I'll have to go and see how "neutral" it is for myself.

Your thoughts?
Yikes, that sort of thing scares me; let us know how it goes.
Well, that convo was today, and it WAS still manditory for all the sophomores and freshmen. I expected a heavier sense of Christan "brainwash techniques," such as telling them to find a church they like (cough) and get involved with a mentor, such as a...pastor...

HOWEVER, I was wrong. For the most part, this was a somewhat neutral convocation. The guy up front talked about drinking, drugs, alcohol, obscene music, etc. Best of all, it was somewhat funny. There's another part to it tonight at a church (no suprise), but I think I might go to that, as it is the full thing. (and I get a T-shirt for volunteering)

Fun fact: only 3 posts at IndyDDR.com contain the word "boop."

I still don't see how listening to 'obscene' music makes one a bad person...I've listened to some brutal shit for years, and it's never had any negative bearing on my life.
Do they expect everyone to write happy music? Sorry, but I think that'd get old real fuckin' quick.
I listen to whatever fits my mood, and no one, regardless of how high and mighty they think they are, is happy all the time.

I know I'd be pretty sad if I were stuck in a pineapple under the sea, living next to an angry squid with a hick squirrel and a retarded star fish for friends.

Yeah but he's pretty naive/ignorant so those things don't really matter to him.

The fact that you've made a thread about religion in itself will stir unnecessary debate and argument.

Anything that has that sort of effect can't be a good thing.
Don't they ever learn their lessons? lol
