Europe getting Beatmania IIDX Arcade Machines!
Alright, it was confirmed at ATEI in London today that the following Bemani games will be getting released in Europe:
GuitarFreaks V3
DrumMania V3
Beatmania IIDX 14 Gold
Alright, so Europe gets an actual arcade release whereas the US has to deal with a garbage console release (Espically compared to RED which came out a month afterwards.) and no arcade release. This is just plain not cool!

Guitar Freaks and DrumMania are significant, too. US hasn't seen GuitarFreaks since 2nd Mix (I know there was a US 1st, and I think we got a 2nd), and I'm not sure we ever got DrumMania.
Maybe this is a sign that they'll spread the love. Afterall, Europe got Dancing Stage Fusion during that long period of time between Extreme and SuperNOVA when many people had given up hope that the series would continue.
And don't forget, the US beatmania packaging prominently stated:
"RE-CREATE THE ARCADE HIT EXPERIENCE IN YOUR LIVING ROOM!"
Leave me alone with my wishful thinking.

Well, numerous sources at ATEI confirmed that the Konami reps announced that it will be released in Europe and that E-Amuse will be usable! Oh, I should also mention that the fliers that I linked gives distributor information. There is more about this on Bemanistyle's forums and DDRUK.BakaOrochi wrote:Hold on a sec.
Last I heard those machines were only going to have a presence at ATEI, but it wasn't stated that those games were going to be released in Europe. It's just like how E3 had V2 and DistorteD. Didn't mean those version of games were going to be released in America.

Huh. I didn't see that in the BMS forums, perhaps I'll double check.Amp Divorax wrote:Well, numerous sources at ATEI confirmed that the Konami reps announced that it will be released in Europe and that E-Amuse will be usable! Oh, youtube has some vids from ATEI which hopefully won't get caught in the wacky copyright crossfire that happened eariler this week:
IIDX Gold's Extra Stage Song: Vanessa (Why did they get rid of the Cardinal Gate, I liked that idea!)
A remix of Ghost Busters!?!?!?!?!?!?!? WTF!

Looks like they nerfed Innocent Walls from being a 12 to an 11 on both 7k and A.
God dammit.

Those ratings are from the location tests. Wait until after the official release on Feb. 7th to see what's been nerfed.Merk wrote:Looks like they nerfed Innocent Walls from being a 12 to an 11 on both 7k and A.
