horrible day for IIDX.... first i turned on my PS2 to find out all of my data has been erased.... then i start to play 14K and one of my controllers died... completely. no buttons work. then i went to play singles and my other controller has 2 buttons not registering.... guess im out for a while until my ransai is done...

to keep on topic... passed AA 14K before my controller died.

Having a good day so far and had a good night last night: I ended up getting Genom Screams Hyper, and I passed TWO MORE 6*! Hitch Hiker Another (which I'm mid A-range on!) and M-02 stp. Ver. w/e Hyper (which I think I got a C on...tons of greats). I also improved some 5k scores, I got + 100+ EX on some of them...also, I'm 5 away from the AAA on Metal Gear Solid Theme 5k with a PC (which would be my first 4* AAA).

got one of my controllers to work now.... just a couple things.

Passed Snow 7key. First home 7* passed. C'd it. Awful score. Combo'd second half of it though, odd.

Got a bunch of scores up, many of them + 50+ EX. Also passed Genom Screams 5k (Training Mode FTW!), so now the only 5k song I have left is ska a go go, which I don't see myself passing anytime soon--I can barely full-combo that ending at speed 1 or 2 in training. I'm also 6 EX away from AAAing g.m.d. [a], which would be my first another AAA, and my first 4* AAA.

EDIT: Oh, yeah and I have some bad news for all you people who couldn't beat my Love Is Dreaminess score: I raised it by 20-30 EX

Do you play 1 or 2 handed? Love is Dreamyness is fairly hard to 1-hand, but gets much easier 2-handed...

2-handed. Like hardcore 2-handed. Like two-handed on 5-key even. Like two fingers on each button two-handed.

Passed Digital MinD Hyper, which means I only have one 5* song left to pass (Outer Limits, which I still can't do better on than a failing C, with BMUS grading).

EDIT: Just looked on VJArmy, and apparently Outer Limits's real rating is a 6, which means I have passed all 5*!

So yes... my IIDX accomplishment of the day was dusting off my controllers and restoring them to their rightful place downstairs. Note that I still haven't actually played anything on IIDX in a couple of weeks now.

I'm going to go back to the game and discover that I'm now failing 4-stars and 5-stars, aren't I?

One way or the other, there WILL be some IIDX played tonight, or my name isn't ****** ******.

been working on anothers to try and get better at more complex stuff. just a couple AAAs today...

and i have about 15 or so more another level songs that are within AAA range that i need to go get from various styles.
