Haverhill is a school, therefore a building, therefore it doesn't live, therefore it doesn't die, therefore no it is not dead. It is still functioning as a school.

I have no idea what my former science teacher is up to, probably retirement.

She just retired. When I taught 5th grade at Mrs. Nix's class during my senior year of high school, I went into Mrs. McAfee's class a few times. She's still...eccentric. Remembered me though.

But alas Merk did not know the answer. Perhaps I should make my own thread! But I like Merk better than me.

Merk wrote:Where exactly the phrase is from I have no idea. I first saw the phrase on one of those motivational posters in my 2nd grade science class. The poster had an electrical cord connected to a light bulb with the cord spelling out "Knowledge is power" and the bulb shining vigorously.

Oh Haverhill... Oh Mrs. Macafee... ::weep::
This poster, is it the same one where the plug wasn't actually plugged into anything? I always found that funny.

Become a very convincing transvesite or cross-dresser.

But I say let the straights be straights and the gays be gays.

Dear Merk,

Sometimes I don't get nearly as much sleep as I should, and the next day my erections feel really really good. Why is this?
