I think the postal service does a great job, although sometimes they route my packages to unnecessary destinations, I prefer to go UPS most of the time but definately not FedEx... Plus the postal service makes you pay for tracking numbers yes I am aware that I am speaking of a different postal service, my post is expressed in sarcasm

I remember hearing about this at the time, but I don't know where this idea stands at the present. But you are certainly not alone in your feelings on this matter.

Ironically, I don't really like the idea of the "forever stamp." IMO, the government will eventually invalidate them. It's just a question of whether it will happen in a century or a year... thus reintroducing the unpredictability we thought we were getting away from (albeit probably on a longer scale). I just wish for, say, 1-year stamps or 5-year stamps, guaranteed to be good for precisely a certain length of time. Then I can mark my calendar and know when I have to go upgrade rather than following the software model (which dictates that critical upgrades will be required at seemingly random intervals and that as a result you'll never really be sure whether you're current or not).

And this is even if it institutes such things in the first place. In the U.S., that's rather a long shot (again IMO) because it would tend to screw up the control over inflation that the government believes it has.

I don't really trust the U.S. (or any) government to keep its promises. Can you tell?

OTOH, even if I'm wrong, there are several great arguments on Marginal Revolution about why it's not as simple as it sounds.

2. Moping around? Hmm.. Lets see, I just moved to a new state, don't know a soul, and am trying to find a job. Yeah, I'm single. That's about all you've got on me there.

Prehaps beacuse all you do is sit on your fat ass all day playing video game and talking on IM's to other friends doing the same thing, you didn't realize that I'm well known for my game. I have so much game it humors people. Ask Clint (Soma). At our large parties at Clark St., If came alone, by the end of the night I didn't leave alone, and it wasn't a one night stand hooker, it blossomed into a relationship every time. Socially impaired? I don't think so. Just because I'm not of the wealthy class means I'm slightly impaired in the game.. for now. I get mine.

6. You know something about music? Wow.. You sure could have fooled me. I've been promoting a booking shows since I was 15 and started working with Rhino's and Plan-it-X. I've booked Atmosphere, Slug, Murs, P.O.S, The Lawerance Arms, A Wilhelm Scream, Big D and the Kids Table, Mu330, and even Mars Volta about 4 months before they blew up. I also actually know how to play a musical instrument (4 to be exact). I mean, you can play the ass trumpet, but that doesn't count. Get some experience other than "My friend said this was awesome I listened to it and it rocks." and try being older than 15 at most before you even fucking try talking to me about music.

And wow, you can play 4 instraments. Not really musical, you can play them, you have good coordination.
