They sell straight edge shirts. They lose for trying to market a lifestyle that doesn't need a trend store marketing it.

No, Hot Topic is where 16 year olds use their parents lunch money to buy Invader Zim shirts.

Don't make me grab my homie James and wheelbarrow yo ass. And don't act like you don't know what I'm talkin' about.

And P.S., Hot Topic is just a marketer's wet dream. Turning teen angst into a profit.

Hot Topic is fucking awful. I still say that it's squarly their fault (well, MTV helped) that the scene is now full of idiotic kids who think Underoath and Falloutboy are the BEST THINGS EVER! I rarely go to shows anymore, even if I can get into most of them for free nintey-nine because of them.

As for buying band shirts, why not actually support the bands and buy it directly from them? From what I hear, Hot Profit gives each band the equivlent of peanuts for each shirt sold. Or you could always go buy REAL CLOTHING instead of the absoultly HALARIOUS novelty t-shirt that lets people know you have a sassy attitude whith out even speaking.

Erin: Scene kids know EXACTLY what to do when they see a mosh pit. They cut that shit out. You wanna mosh, go to a metal show.
