Pirates of the Caribbean 2
Tonight, I'm going to go watch Pirates of the Caribbean 2, when it premieres at midnight. Hopefully, it will be worth it. I'm going with a few friends at this new theater on Washington Street.
They just built it, so drinks are like $5, but there are unlimited slushy refills. ^_^
Anyone else ever stay up all night to see a movie? Camp out? Sneak in?
-Jeff
P.S.: Ninjas are still better than pirates, imo. Perhaps I will dress up as a ninja and go to the movie, see if I get my butt kicked or not. Here's how to make a ninja mask out of a T-shirt:

Pirates are better than ninjas.
They always have been.
They always will be.

Pirates could take ninjas if the Pirates were on a ship. But anywhere else the Ninjas would own them. There fore Ninjas are better.
I feel like a 7th grade nerd arguging about which pokemon are stronger.
Anywho, I plan on seeing Pirates tonight with my girlfriend. It looks good but I don't think it will be as good as the first one.

Dude, are you insane? Pirates own ANYWHERE. They'd just see the ninjas wherever they were hiding first, because of their magic eye-patch. Then they would be all like "SHIVER ME TIMBERS ARGHH" and the effects of that phrase are known by physicians everywhere to rival those of "Ni". And swashbuckling, you can't forget swashbuckling. The pirates would be swashbuckling all over the place and the ninjas would be like "Look at me with my lame shurikens I'm gonna go back to Japan and kill myself for honor" or something.
And plus, "pirate" can also mean one who steals and copies copyrighted material (Limewire, anyone?).

I guess that if Limewire makes you a pirate, I'm a Pirate Ninja.

I got in line around 10:30, despite the movie showing at midnight. To put a long story short, the movie ended around 2:45 a.m. It was awesome. I'd give it about a 9.7/10, mainly because there are some parts where the plot just kinda keeps going...and going...and going...but this is why:
There's definitely going to be a sequel.
I won't give away the ending, but there is truly a cliffhanger at the end of this movie. I jumped out of my seat at the end, not wanting to wait to see the sequel.
Also, as shown in the previews, there will be a Transformers movie on July 4th of next year. The preview shows Optimus Prime on Mars, destroying one of our space probes on the surface.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Back to the Pirate/Ninja debate:
Ninjas usually have more arms, legs, or eyes than the typical pirate. Also, Pirates are usually ridden with scurvy, STDs, and cirrhosis from all the rum. (Why do I always end up in these debates?)

Who would rather have an arm/leg/eye instead of a hook/peg/eye-patch? I know I sure wouldn'tJeff Jeff Revolution wrote: Back to the Pirate/Ninja debate:

I dunno. Usual Suspects, Fight Club, American Beauty, Equilibrium, Donnie Darko. Dramas and thrillers.
I liked the original Pirates of the Carribean, so it's not like I don't like this type of movie. This one just lacked the flair and charm the first one had and it was a giant preview for the 3rd movie. The plot moved practically nowhere. There were lots of "wtf?" moments that never really went answered. Yeah, there's a sequel. But *OMG SPOILERZZZ* Elizabeth kisses Jack and it's never explained or followed up on, and Will doesn't even seem to care. He even wants to go save Jack afterwards. Overall, it was dissapointing, and I think a lot of people are scared to admit it.

i normally like horror, suspense, mystery kinda movies -lol- i love a lot of gore (as twisted as i may sound, it amuses me how stupid they are therefore making it entertaining to watch them die...)but yeah, the 1st was a better, that i do have to admit. and yes there were a lot of questionable moments as well as wtf -lol- and after reviewing it, they went nowhere.....i wouldnt say i'm disappointed though, i still enjoyed it.
