It seems to me that these two have almost nothing to do with each other... When it starts shipping, then it will be finalized (maybe - eAmuse games can update themselves in Japan with new songs).

They started taking orders awhile ago, but I have not heard of any confirmed locations or shipments. But I also have not been following it all that closely.

Ah, that explains it. I interpreted "On sale" as meaning that like half the arcades in the country already had it [/hyperbole], so I was confused as to why there weren't any scores on DDR sites, or simfiles, or videos, etc. BTW, the link to the Fascination MaxX video earlier in this thread, where was that? The guys have a British accent, and it's on an arcade machine. The machine is set on free play. It also looks like they're in a mall. So, either European malls are weird and FM has been on a dancing stage AC, or that's a Supernova and some place put it on free play cuz they just got it.

It was likely at a trade show. For example, ASI had two DDR SuperNova machines (on free play) sitting in the Betson booth. I played one of them.

I believe orders started being taken around the time of ASI, with delivery supposedly being "spring". Of course, they don't have very much "spring" left...

Was it cool? What songs did you play? Is the song list on Wikipedia correct? Did you try Fascination MaxX? [/lotsaquestions]

Holy shit I just watched the Mugen video...WAS SOMEBODY ON ABOUT 10 GALLONS OF VODKA AND SOME MARIJUANA WHEN THEY RATED THAT A 10-FOOTER? I mean, (NO HYPERBOLE) it deserves an 8. And barely.
See for yourself:

WTF RIGHT?

EDIT: Are there Heavy and Challenge steps for FM and Healing-D-Vision? What are the steps that everybody plays on the videos, the challenge? What other songs have new Challenge steps (bag does right?).

FaXX sucks.

Most of the other songs are fun.

Too bad a lot of people at ASI played the OLD songs.

-Xepher is disappointed I thought (WinDEU thought otherwise).
-Flowers by Terra = fun.
-No. 13 = awesome.
-Gekkochou = OK.
-New licenses = pretty fun stepcharts.
-Murmur Twins = bleah. Probably would've been better if it wasn't so offsync.
-Red Zone = OK, could've been better. Also off sync.
-Under The Sky = Had fun double Heavy steps, that's all I remember.

Mugen no Hikari isn't a 10-footer by far, but it is fun. I thought it was a rated a 9 (which still isn't accurate).

As far as I can tell from the video, it's a 10. Somebody at Konami must be playing a joke. That's like one of those first-songs-I-can-do-on-Heavy type of songs. It disgraces everything about a DDR 10-footer.

-Dan

P.S. But now, when we get a Supernova and I start AAAing stuff, I can say I AAAd a 10-footer :).

So far, Murmur Twins, Xepher, and DoLL. I haven't heard or seen of other BGA's transplanted.

Got to play a later build of SN at Disneyland, most of the stuff that was off-sync were on, so I'm pretty confident that SN will be better than most people think.
