However, I must say that windex + socks = 0 traction. Luckilly I usually had a bit of rubber on the pads from the last contestants.
There is a very simple answer to this dilemma. Try adding SHOES into the equation. I honestly don't know how you guys can do it in socks (or barefoot, like another friend of mine).

Ah, but I suck in shoes. Seriously. Far too much traction and extra weight that I'm not used to.

May I suggest a pair of simple Reebok low-tops? My princess shoes (The model is called Princess, not my choice) are very light, and they have enough traction to keep you from falling but not so much that you can't slide. When broken in by a couple nights, they become the perfect arrowstomper. At least in my opinion.

Sorry, but I think I'll just stick with socks for now (no pun intended).

She is the one who set it up, if it weren't for her there probably wouldn't have been a tourney.....that is Christina she was the girl who you gave your money and got your bracelet from.

That probably sounded harsher than I meant it. I was just curious who the person was.

fluffyumpkins...who are you? did you compete during the tourny? I'm Christina, as you may already know from lgolem. I'm the marketing manager at Great X Scape arcade. I was in charge of setting up the tournment and malitcus was in charge of the tourny rules. And last but not least lgolem was my big helper. It was a fun tournment and i look forward to working on some more.
