Hadn't thought about the fact that the ITG stuff isn't neccesarily all imported. Kinda a neat idea that those can be fixed rather cheaply and quickly.

p.s. Thanks for rating my posts crapy Grubb, I really apprechiate it.

Shaffer is the local distributor for Andamiro (who makes this cabinet), so they should be able to get reasonable pricing on it. If all that is broken is the neon tube, those are not too expensive, though maybe more than $20 for a primary source (Andamiro) part.
maybe more than $20, but I doubt it'd be over $50 for the Andamiro one. and my bad :D I didn't know that was an ITG2 dedicated cabinet *jealous*

EDIT: ... you kicked a brand new cabinet?

I've learned something from watching others like you...

When you get mad, kick something else...like go outside and kick the wall a couple times...it won't break.

Also, you were complaining about them being rude to you all the time...let's just say kicking the merchandise doesn't help too much with diplomacy. >_<

Agreed.
Look into ways that you can vent your anger in healthy ways. o_o Seriously. I've used DDR to vent my frustrations, too. But if you fail (yes, YOU FAIL, not the machine fucking you over. It's a brand new machine), take responsibility for your failure or leave to vent in another way.

Kicking the machine? 'Specially a new one? Way to go. -.-

It's a good thing that you took responsibility for your little hissy fit.

Shit, at least he has the gumption to approach the owner and get it fixed. There are some people that would just leave it and say its not their problem.

He probably had the "gumption" to approach the owner and get it fixed because, if I'm making correct assumptions because it's a brand new game, it's RIGHT OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYTHING. Where EVERYONE can see.

Would the story be the same if it were tucked back in a corner where the employees can't see?

(Don't get me started about how rude their employees are. Big fucking deal. It's wrong of them to be that bad, yes. But it's worse for him to take "personal offense" to it so that he can add it to his "omg i liek had a turible day!!!1!" list.)

Furthermore, and "accident" would be him falling into it or something, not blatantly kicking the everliving shit out of it because he's had a "bad day."

My vendetta isn't about the machine. My vendetta is about this stupid anger problem he possesses. The fact that he would just so willingly ruin things for other people just so that HE can feel better is really shitty.

So the next time you see one of those assholes playing that gets ultra-pissed about a good that he rightfully earned and does something rash, or one of those idiots that hammer an arrow if it's sticking a little (because we ALL know how much THAT helps), please remember that you just defended one of those people. Congratulations.

OK, thats where I draw the damn line right there, im bout to stick my neck out. You dont know this kid. You are judgemental and acting childish. Yamcha is a good guy, and from what I know, a decently honorable man. How dare you fucking sling insults to someone you dont even know. The guy practically taught me how to play the damn game. And YES had it been in the corner, he would have fessed up to it because he is that kind of person. You need to step the hell off, along with everyone else who thinks its cool to take pot-shots at someone simply because he asked a simple question of "how can I fix what I've done wrong." I'd much rather have a million people who have an instance where they lose their temper rather than 1 person who is so damn high-and-mighty about their own skill that they look down on everyone else. Shame on you for taking a cheap shot at someone who had the honesty to admit, not only to the management of the establishment, but to his peers whom he plays with, that he screwed up and wanted to know how he could fix his mistake. It breaks my heart every time a man is condemned by his peers for a rash action, rather than offered a helping hand off the ground. If you really care so much about your one damn neon light, pitch in some damn money and help a kid out. Think of someone other than yourself for a change. Ever think that maybe you could have made someones day a little brighter by saying "hey i know how that is, but its alright man, how can we fix this?" How about everyone just goes and takes a little look in the mirror...right now...go. Have you ever done something rash? Maybe hurtful to someone? WE ARE ALL HUMAN. For God's sake have the decency not to chastize one of your own.

Mosh, I appologize if this came off harsh, but its very difficult for me to see something like this going on in what is suppost to be a community of peopel dedicated to the advancement and bettering of the game. If I singled you out I appologize, its just something I needed to get out there.

No offense taken, and I'm glad that you took a stand and said what you did.

Because you were right, and I was wrong.

I'm sorry.

I guess that everybody had anger management issues, they just all express them in different ways.

No, screw that. Mosh was right. She spoke her mind on something... she's not wrong for doing so.

Yamcha shouldn't have kicked the machine. And we're all pointing out how stupid he is for doing it. I, for one, might've gotten physical with him over something like that. I recall socking someone in the chest at Greenwood when someone was beating on their already dying machine.

And like you said, Blade, "Think of someone other than yourself for a change." Yamcha should've done that before he went ballistic.

Call me an asshole, whatever. But when someone who should know better acts like a 5-year-old and tosses a trantrum, breaking something on a brand new machine I havn't had the opportunity to play on yet... I'm gonna give them a piece of my mind. Get where I'm comin from?

It still plays just fine...

It's just that the left side doesn't have the light-up neon where you can't really see it while you're playing.

Don't let a slight setback keep you from trying out the game. It's still good fun.

Unless you lack testosterone I think it's hard to not get violent when you're extremely angry, that and the fact that you don't really think, it's more of a spur of the moment thing.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it as long as there isn't any extensive damage, he's fixing it, so get over it, or you could get in his face and yell at him in person, because it would be just as easy in person as on the internet of course.

I may have been acting immature, but I'm not the one dragging this on FOREVER. Also I am fixing the problem, the issue will be resolved with laserflash. and before you start running your mouth bout "socking" ppl, be sure you know who you are talking to(that isn't a threat). I personally am done with this whole issue. Thank you to those who gave me info.
