Alright, How many of you went to the midnight showings tonight and what did you think of the show?

I've gotta say, I throughly enjoyed it and learned a thing or 2.

Well.. i don't know yet. the first 30 minutes were ridiculously stupid. Well, not so much all of it as ANYTHING TO DO WITH R2.
I hated Grevious, loved the Tarkin cameo, hated "frankenstien vader", loved the proof of Mace Windu's badass-ness.
I'm sad star wars movies are done. I'm sad the jedi went out mostly like bitches.

Mostly, i'm just sad.

I saw it at midnight. I can't believe star wars is finally over. I remember being so young when I first heard of the first three episodes. *sigh*

It was a ton better than episode I and II, but still kinda meh. The dialogue was really lame in some places, especially near the end.

I thought it was pretty good.
Cheezy at a lot of parts, but good effects.
I started dl'ing episode three last night and in an hour I had 94 percent, but there aren't any freaking seeds, so i'm stuck at 94.134 lol. damnit

also that shitty workprint has a horrible aspect ratio problem. don't waste your time unless you like getting headcahes from movies. personally i think pirating films in theaters is wrong. ESPECIALLY since new legislature went into effect saying you can get 3 years in jail for doing just that.

Well i just saw the noon showing (Take that midnight!) and i thought it was a very good movie. I was a little disapointed in General greivous but he was still cool. 9 out of 10 in my book.

Well, I was supposed to go see it at midnight with two of my friends, but then they started arguing liking little bitches, and I couldn't get in touch with one of them...namlely the one that had my ticket....

So, no star wars for Shaun. I even skipped work to go see it...so, I'm out of a movie, and a night's pay.

my thoughts on the movie: It was like a 150 minute long orgasm. I loved it. The parts that were cheezy i think were just as far and few between as other movies. I think they stuck to the story line very very well. You could tell because you actually got bored and were like "ok i GET IT! it's all about politics! now somebody take someone's head off with a lightsaber.....ahhhh that's better...."

My favorite thing about the movie was how well it dovetailed into the original episode IV. Beautiful work on the part of the makers of the movie. And thank god i didn't have to hear that fucking jamaican lizard talk!

Poor younglings. That part made me so mad. The intro was incredible as far as CG goes. What was the deal with Aayla Secura, not one stinking line, and when she *SPOILER* died, that was the weakest death ever. Well, Windu's was pretty weak as well. When yoda climbed up Chewie, I almost lost it. Freakin' awesome. Anakin is such a pussy. That Frankenstein scene was absolutely retarded. When R2 shocked that battle droid, then got kicked, I was laughing so hard. So in summation, I loved it.

if you wanna see it again, go to matinees. don't risk jailtime for a shitty camera filmed, mono audio, overly bright copy.

anyways, the movie was pretty bad ass, although the first half hour sucked. The way Anakin lost to obiwan was absolutely retarded though.

I wish they would remake the 4-6th episodes so they wouldn't suck so much. Yah the story is great but even I have my limits..

i went to the midnight showing at noblesville, and i was pleased. no jarjar, anakin wasn't a whiny little bitch, and the end nicely tied things in with a new hope. anakin, though a little wooden at times, reminded me of luke like he should. there was actually good humor with r2d2, which had been a problem with the previous prequels. my only complaints some dialogue/love scenes aside, was mace windu's death. it was cool, but it really felt rushed.

The aspect ratio problem is why you should make sure to grab the correct release. Though despite that aspect ratios aren't a problem if you use a good player that supports changing AR on the fly (like Zoom Player).

Anyway I bought my tickets a week ago and just got back from seeing it tonight. I liked it but am too lazy to go into any more detail.

And guess what, It's always been illegal, not gonna stop me from not wasting a billion fucking dollars to see movies. I'll go see a movie once, but I'm not paying 8 fucking dollars again for it. It's not worth it one bit.
If places charged less, then I'd see it, but fuck it, if they need to charge that much, then I'll dl any movie I want to see, which has been... ONE this year. I just dl Japanese tv and stuff for the most part.

People who are all hardcore against pirating are retarded, why complain? It's not going to stop. You think I'm not going to dl movies to save money that I don't have because you said it was wrong? No.
I'm sorry that not everyone* has the money to see a bunch of movies in theatres, but maybe if the industry wasn't so fucking retarded, I wouldn't have to dl the movies.
It's Kingdom of Heaven anyway, cause the retards don't know how to tag stuff, so I watched 10 minutes of that, It sucks, don't watch it.

I don't know why I've ever really liked this forum... I keep thinking that more and more, cause I thought it was just that it sucked now, but when I think about it, nothing has changed from last year when i started posting.
