I Love 2000!

Post by Blacktop »

Twenty years from now--we'll all be a bit older. VH1 will start showing the, "I love 2000" decade. What do you guys think will be on there, will DDR be on it? o_O Just wondering what people think of our generation! hehe =)

I doubt DDR will make that big of an appearance.
We'll get stuck with the bs about 9/11, and the war
on terror, and they'll pin us as patriots and shit
like that.
Also, we've got this digital wireless thing going,
lots of new technology, camera phones, and just
this giant cell phone boom in general.

I pray Pokemon will just die, and not make an appearance.
Ever.

Acutally, our Generation is being called the "Girls Gone Wild Generation" for multiple reasons.

I really wish I was joking when I said that. But unfortunatly, it's true.

I will, most likely. I mean, come on. I'm awesome.

As for DDR, no. All I know is, 2000 sucks so far, and when my future self sees "I Love 2000" I would instantly change the channel. Unless it's hosted by a Robot, in which case I would forgive 2000 for all past grievances and welcome this delightful television program into my heart, because Robots are awesome. And then the Thought Police will bust through my door, and arrest/kill me on charges of thoughtcrime.

The future is a wondersome place!

Maybe you should be a little more careful with the words you use to describe the deaths of nearly 2000 people. I wouldnt exactly call that bullshit, I would call it a tragedy.

I wasn't calling the event itself bs. We all know that's a tragedy. we've been there. I was refering to the political mess we've been in since that tragedy. If you'd like to know, do some browsing through conspiracy theories...For example, we were going to afghanistan anyway, and already had the military mobilized to do so, before 9/11 even occured. Take that in mind with the convenient lapse in intelligence that day. If you're interested, go ahead and look it up, or PM me. I won't go into anymore here. Please continue on topic.

Girls Gone Wild...That's mildly depressing. =Þ What is there for the few who have hope! >.< Hehe, man, there really isn't much to look for in this decade, is there?

I liked Pokemon when it was popular. Hell, I bought Fire Red cuz I loved it so much. I still like it. It's so dumb...and yet...I can't put it down sometimes lol

/random thought brought up by Yume's post

Anyhooter...I love 2000...I can see it now...it's depressing lol I remember when they came out with the 90's trivial pursuit. Dear god! I felt old. I can't imagine how some of you "really old" folks feel :-P

I'm only eighteen and I feel like a geezer
i am cute. my panda's bigger than your panda.

I used to love Pokemon so much.
Then I realized just how much time I was wasting trying to master all of them on Gameboy, and figured it wasn't really worth it.
Poor pixeled Pikachu.
((is pixeled even a word?))
A Song:
Yay for siggys
there's an anime character name shiggy
well really his name is shigure
something that rhymes with Shigure

I believe the word you're looking for is "pixelated"

I too enjoyed pokemon as a kid. Heck, I still would, it's a great game... I use "would" because nobody else plays it, the fun part is fighting other people. Unfortunatly, it not being popular anymore, no friends to play with. And you can only beat the game so many times before it gets old. Such a shame, I had a wicked awesome Heracross.

Yes, I just said that.

You know those little breaks where they insert like a really popular song from the age? If they don't put Yeah on there I will be so depressed.
Anyway, they should probably put Chapelle's Show on there. And if they put 90210 on I <3 the 80s or whenever it was, they should probably put the OC on sometime.
Oh, and American Idol too, obviously. That whole reality TV boom started in 2000 with Survivor, anyway.
