Back on topic, I used an email address with decent spam blocking, so I haven't seen a noticeable increase in spam since I signed up. I also did the blockbuster online thing for one offer, which I am enjoying much more than I thought I would.
EVERY forum I'm a member of I see threads or banner ads to join a "conga line" for a fucking ipod. You do realize, these conga lines already have 300+ in the queue, and these impatient people get theirs before you. That's 1500 people just to start off with that need to sign up before you're even thought of recieving one.
On top of that, did I mention these stupid ads are everywhere?
Oh yeah, and also the deals are a ploy to get your name. After you sign up you get call after call and email after email. Thank god Indiana has a no call list or I would be murdering some people.

Uhh..did you not read that I already GOT my iPod from this site? I have GMail also, so I really don't get too much spam mail anymore.
I get 1-2 spam mails per day MAX, and the spam filter picks them up.

great you got your ipod...how about the thousands of people that are waiting (for months depending upon the deal) still for their tv/ipod/xbox/flat screen/computer/lcd/whatever the fuck else. Don't even try to tell me all of the sites ship, you can do a simple google search to see numerous sites are either overloaded or flat out not shipping.
Right, I know some sites don't give out what they promise, that's why I only sign up at proven legit sites, like all of the Gratis sites, OfferCentric sites, and a few other sites that I KNOW ship out what they say they will.
