I played V tonight. I managed 18 greats for a DP of 652. Surprisingly decent for as long as it's been since I've played.

Is it my pick this week? I don't care. I'm picking Brilliant 2U (K.O.G. G3 Mix). The challenge chart...because that's all there is.

Works for me! Hopefully it's on Supernova (it probably is) to save me a "de-conversion" of my machine.

For future stuff, are we OK with picking things on SN, or shall we stick to the set of "songs on Extreme that are hopefully also on Supernova"?

If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

That's really up to Merk. He was the one that had been requesting we stick to Extreme. But he hasn't been playing and I have no such restrictions.

Why isn't there a song called AAA? There was A...and AA...it seems like AAA should have happened by now.

How about murmur twins? I don't remember anything about that chart. It was just the first thing that jumped out at me when I looked at a song listing just now.

I got 574 on Murmur Twins...so close.

How about we do Monkey Punk this week? Ice cream optional.

I'm afraid I'm missing the joke here, but that's fine. I'm pretty unfamiliar with most of the music past Extreme.

I got caught up on everything last night. I also jumped the tilt switch so SN2 would run in progressive on the "new" monitor. It.is.so.beautiful. You really do need to do this. I'll help! :D

I assume you're calculating your DP score by counting Marvelous the same as Perfect. That's what I'm doing...and apparently what SoS does even though it lets you enter a Marvelous count. Maybe that's just what DP is. I don't know things. I'm not smart. Anyway, here are my scores:

Brilliant2U (K.O.G. G3 MIX) Challenge - 478
AA - 664 - I actually have a better score than this in SoS from 2012, but this was a full combo (other wasn't) and current, so I'll use it here.
murmur twins - 558 - This was a really technically challenging chart. I enjoyed it, but I had to really pay attention to odd rhythms and changeups.
Monkey Punk - 516 - I really *don't* know post-Extreme songs all that well. Not only was this chart unfamiliar to me, the song itself wasn't either. I guess I understand your ice cream comment now though.

Supernova does not have Marvelous in regular game play. It only has it in Nonstop/Oni like Extreme does. SN2 was the version that introduced it in normal game play.

And yes, I do need to set my cabinet up for progressive video. The monitor I want to use is currently without a board set, though...
