It's like, birch, no you didn't. No one was yelling "FAKE! FAAAAAAAKE!" 24 hours ago and now all of a sudden the deniers are coming out of the woodwork. I love how places like Polygon are all like, "Yeah MvC4 is happening and will be announced this weekend, we've seen it, you've heard it here first" when clearly MvC4 is not happening anytime soon.

pretty much every single person I saw mentioning it on facebook was saying it was fake 24 hours ago. In fact the only people I recall thinking it might be real are your guys' posts on here. it was literally random unsourced pictures from some guys twitter/neogaf thread.

people really thought that was real? Like that's all it takes to stir stuff like this up? I need to start posting more photoshops on twitter that could be a good lol

just noticed he even fucked up the typesetting as well, marvel does not add extraneous Registered marks to their logo in promotional posters, especially with dedicated trademarking text along the bottom. If you see a marvel poster with a TM or R alongside the red logo, it's a fan make. and the PS4 logo's TM watermark is so poorly resized it's illegible, these kinds of errors would never make it into an official poster

guys the rumors were already started when the dude made that stuff, it didn't START the rumors. yes that image is fake but I'm gonna call the shot:



-new Marvel VS Capcom game revealed at PSX Saturday afternoon during their keynote. Might not even be called MvC4, will be heavily inspired by all the new cinematic universe people. Might even be 2v2 with a dedicated assist like the old VS. games
-Playable demo or exhibition after SF5 Capcom Cup finals Saturday night
-UMvC3 remastered/port for PS4 made by Iron Galaxy (studio who made Third Strike Online and all the other online remasters). 1 more year of MvC3 at EVO, MvC4 comes out in November
