I haven't seen anything on this yet on the forum. My brother got his today and all I can say is that it's a tank. The thing is very very solid.Takes some getting used to but it was worth the money. It also comes with a USB plug is for the computer!!
Would you say it's pretty responsive? Like do the side of the panels register as well as their centers? Do the recessed arrows help you keep your place any better (I imagine they would)? Have you tried using the pad with Stepmania, and if so, how well has that worked?
I've seen lots of good feedback already (like someone AAAing My Summer Love on one) and I'm thinking about buying one myself, but I wanna be sure it's not going to fall apart on me or be pretty unresponsive.

It's foil based like the old one. The old one you absolutley had to step right in the center to get it to respond. This one has a little bigger response area. I gotta play on it more. Were gonna hook it up to the PC tonight and see what happens. And I'm not sure but you may be able to mess with the screws to get the pad to be more sensative or less sensative.
