Riot if you snag that machine find out how much he's charging for shipping. Since it's close enough we could just go pick it up ourselves for presumably cheaper and have one hell of an adventure woooo!

Machine doesn't have anything obviously broken and the monitor looks functional. Everything else can be fix up. For the layman this machine will suit just fine.

The auction details said he'd deliver for 2 dollars a mile and he's a little over 200 miles away. I don't think i will spend over 1k at the moment (which probably isn't realistic) but I might as well try to get lucky and hope ebay goes down or something at an opportune moment! We'll see in the future how much I'd be willing to pay but probably not over 2k.

If I paid a lot right now Meg would be a smidge upset.

Welp, that machine ended up going for $1,925 which I guess isn't too bad.

You are already married to Meg - you have swooned her. There is nothing else you need to do to impress her and now you can piss her off all you want! Mawwige!

Tilt is selling games:

Those fancy new fighting game cabs for $2000.

Time Crisis 2 for $500.

Old fighting games (MvC2, SvC Chaos, Tekken stuff) for less than $500. These would be pretty decent MAME cabinets. They all look something like this.

SuperNova2 and X are still selling for a whole friggen lot.

lol at that WarCraft3 flag or whatever the fuck that is in that picture.

If they still had their 3rd strike ballin' showcase cabinet for 5 hundo I'd consider getting it so it could rot in someone's house somewhere.

Yeah that machine went up really quickly in the end. Not that I would have paid 2000 for something I hadn't tested or seen at this point in time anyways, but I don't think I'd have wanted to pursue that one since it was a Korean cab that had some potential issues (at least issues down the road). I wouldn't mind paying that for something proven in good shape and relatively close though!

Chad if you ever need more room for your incoming dogs' play shrine and want to sell your DDR machine and make a profit over what you paid for it you just let me know!

It'd be fun to have a Third Strike cab BUT some of that stuff is pointless what with XBL having arcade ports and my TE sticks being way nicer than gunky old arcade hardware.

Wish granted. Daniel selling DDR and PIU. The question is what should Riot offer?

Riot: Do you have a spending limit? Take that price and subtract like $500 and see what he says.

Starting at 1k, max out at 2.5k.

I was gonna offer maybe 1750 but 2k max maybe. Is that unreasonable?

I doubt he'll take it, but he doesn't want to list prices so I say go for it. Keep in mind that the supernova kit inside of it is worth something and can probably be resold.

...leaving you with a dedicated Supernova cabinet and no Supernova or newer to run on it. You may not care, but it seems odd and may affect your resale. Stepmania cabinets don't go over too well among anybody paying attention (either commercial or home user), so you'd be stuck chucking either a bootleg 573 game (so something older than the cabinet) or something even more obviously ridiculous in it for resale. Your choice as owner, of course.

False dilemma fallacy. Clearly you are bias.

Maaaaaaan I just wanna play some didder. I'd want some kind of custom Stepmania mix anyways because I'd like to have the full song library at my disposal if possible. We'll see what Daniel says to $1750, and I'll keep my eye on http://www.ebay.com/itm/DANCE-DANCE-REV ... 416ef0f369 maybe.

Daniel said that my offer of $1750 was "1/4 of what a used machine costs" so...... lol

Good thing arcades are dead and he won't find a buyer for 4x that price.
