Yeah the Extra Mix announcer was a neat idea and was a much better than the stupid shit they have now.

She was actually the Solo announcer. It's just that the Solo songs ended up on Extra Mix when they brought them to CS.

Right but no one played solo and SDP knew what I was talking about anyway.

Not arguing the point...just adding some info.

And people did play Solo. We even had a couple here in Indy for awhile.

When I went to South Carolina junior year of high school I played on a nasty, sandy DDR Solo cabinet in a little arcade along the beach. I was trying to show off, and I had just drank a full big bottle of Mountain Dew, played something hard and went outside and threw up.

Just adding some info like Brian is.

I vaguely remember you telling me this story back in the day.

I sadly don't have any good injury/vomit DDR stories but I do remember coming close to getting sick after I passed Afronova for the first way back when Putt-Putt had 4th mix.

The only time I ever played on a legit solo cabinet was in Waikiki.
I really love CS:GO's 64 tick servers.
