The sheer amount of Engrish on that page says KoA had little to do with this. This looks like KoJ throwing the US players a bone of sorts.
A normality test:

If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

Given that they allowed for a barely functioning program (Only 8 songs are available for custom steps) to go live, I stand by my statement.

Since 2nd mix at least, since AM-3P had triplets.

If it helps, you can think of a triplet as a twelfth (1/12) note.

There is another update in the DDR X fiasco. Betson has confirmed that there are no plans for DDR X upgrade kits for pre-existing machines. That's brilliant, try to force people to buy a obviously fubared cabinet for a game that has barely more songs than it's predecessors. (Along with the afforementioned 50 songs, in the US version End of the Century and all Dynamite Rave remixes were also removed.)

The updates to DDR X at GW have been put in a few days ago. I've already gotten the opportunity to play on them...and...well...

Much, much, much, MUCH, MUCH, MUCH, MUCH BETTER!!!

The level 2 code for the machine is now out, so whoever is masochistic enough to play X can play 4 more songs.
