Dance Dance Revolution... Mobile?

Post by WhiteDragon » Mon Jun 26, 2006 9:04 pm

Apparently there's a cell phone version of DDRout on the market. I haven't been able to find any real reviews of it, and don't really feel like spending $7 to find out for myself just what all is in it.

Discuss now or suffer dier consequences!

For me, "downloading a ringtone" is only possible when I record something off the radio on voice memo, and get the buzzy, crappy version of it for a ringer.

Fun fact: only 3 posts at IndyDDR.com contain the word "boop."

That looks pretty cool...I'm at Fort Wayne International right now at the "Business Center"...free web access! But anyways, I would totally buy that. What provider is it on?

Heres the Songlist:
Dance Dance Revolution
Breakdown
Candy
A(ce)
Graduation
MAX 300
Love Shine
Dynamite Rave
Silent Hill
Make A Jam
Think ya better D

Three Song Difficulties:
EASY
NORMAL
HARD

OPTIONS:
Visible
Sudden
Hidden
Stealth
Volume Control (0, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100) [20 is pretty loud itself]

You can use 3 different backgrounds:
BG from Dance Dance Revolution
BG from Breakdown
BG from Candy

pick one, and it stays your BG for every song. Its just a personal preferance.

Controls:
Up - 2
Down - 8
Left - 4
Right - 6
Select/Start - 5

Main Menu Selection:
Game Start (pick the difficulty of the song you pick in Music Select and Go)
Music Select (go here first to pick the music you play)
Options (choose the options I listed earlier)
Instructions
About (Tells you its by Konami and that its DDR.)
Exit (Return to Cell Phone Screen)

Layout:
Extreme Backgrounds, but with the 1st Mix logo.

Music Type:
Midi Format. Each song is about 30 seconds long.

My Rating:
5/5. For a Cell Phone Game.

I own it :P its a blast.
it's on Verizon and Cingular.

Enjoy the Review.

Lame song choices. Except Max 300. That just looks interesting. I seriously would love to watch someone do Max 300 on their phone.

I think I'm the first to actually do a sympnopsis on DDR Mobile.

I'm happy now. At least people used my breakdown :P
