Re: Fort Wayne last week of August?
Welp, I'm in Fort Wayne now. I had to see it for myself, but as others have stated, Putt Putt and TNT are now completely without Bemani. So sad. The guy at Putt Putt said that they they sold the 'dancing games' to private individuals near the beginning of summer.
In the interim I've made alternate plans for Saturday, so it looks like Indy is out. However Merk, if you find yourself in Fort Wayne in the next week let me know.

Whoa whoa whoa TnT got rid of their shit? They still had their Supernova cabinet when I visited their new location a year(ish) ago.

That's pretty much what's happened in the Oregon arcades except for a few random bowling alleys and Big Al's.LikeableRodent wrote:Welp, I'm in Fort Wayne now. I really love CS:GO's 64 tick servers.

I looked around TNT, and there was not a Bemani game to be found.
To Ho: the current plan is to leave Fort Wayne on Friday the 6th.

The last time I stepped foot in any arcade in Fort Wayne I could find no trace of any Bemani games either..... Smh, guess our old days of "dorkism" are long gone and in the past. Such a shame though, it was truly an era of fun and really good memories.

Oh by the way, Lazer X burned down this week. RIP DDR 5th mix.

Yeah, saw that the other day on the news.... Wonder what caused the fire?

Re: Fort Wayne last week of August?
Lazer X reopened a couple of weeks ago. Anyone live close enough or will be in the area to go check it out?
Re: Fort Wayne last week of August?
I live close. I guess I can stop in if I'm in the area to see what's in there, but don't expect a timely report. I rarely get out that way, because... well, you see, I am a hermit and have my own DDR machine so why would I go to an arcade! The interior of the laser tag area looks cool from the pics I saw when I just looked on their Facebook.Diamondback1996 wrote:Lazer X reopened a couple of weeks ago. I don't think their 5th mix survived according to good ol' Shannon Mickels on Facebook which is a God damn shame. I hardly ever played at Lazer X but I liked knowing that it was there and IndyDDR's very own Never Ending Math Equation (aka NEME) worked there so that was cool.
