I was hoping for a place with DDR that isn't horrible, is there any worthwhile DDR place in Indy? I'm not counting Tilt.

If you eliminate Tilt, I don't know of any public location in the Indianapolis area with DDR at all--horrible or otherwise. The machine at Ben & Ari's was the last one I knew of and it was gone when I went a couple months ago.

Man, there are honestly no public facing DDR machines at all in Indy sans Tilt? I thought Indy had a bunch of places to play! Are we really just a giant Pump hub now?


I mean, shit, Fort Wayne has never lost a DDR machine as far as I know, the original 4th mix is still at Putt-Putt, Lazer-X still has 5th, TnT has a Supernova, and there's a bunch of other random places that got DDR after I left for college. F-Dub did get rid of their Pump Pro though - I wonder what happened to that machine...?

I originally mentioned the Caribbean Cove machine in my previous post, but I removed it because the game room is located inside the waterpark and I don't think you can get to it without purchasing a waterpark pass. I'm not sure if the machine is still there or not. I haven't been there in about 2-3 years, and the waterpark was so bad that it made me not want to go back.

Yeah, as far as I know, it's all Pump and ITG in Indy except for Tilt. Honest-to-goodness DDR is now a rare breed.

I remember back in the day when every arcade had Extreme and all I could think was, "FUCK my life all I want to do is not play Extreme"

Caribbean Cove DDR is apparently still around. Wyoming Myst and I were talking about it the other day. The condition is not good. I've personally never seen it.

Does anyone know if Laser Flash or Pinheads have R21 or greater?

I believe they both are r21. I don't think the Laser Flash USB works though, if I remember correctly.
