That's a solid Electro Tuned score.

You said something about Castlevania when we talked today, so how about we play Bloody Tears as our next song. I gave it a few tries and came up with this score:

Fun fact, I missed the jump after the pause every single time I played it (that's the Good in this run). It made sense on the first play, but I was expecting it the next two times and still didn't get it. :P

1. Nudged you out of A Love Like This
2. Got my feet wet with Bloody Tears,
3. New song.

Had a real good run on A Love Like This. Im very happy with that one. I honestly dont know if I have any more in me to sneak a better score out. I was real happy with that one though. That was about my 3rd or 4th playthrough of Bloody Tears. I actually had to work at comboing it. Plenty to do on it as I have 2/3rds more greats than you.

Takes an X2 AAA to play on Kind Lady. Its coming to the latter half of this tournament and Im going to have to pick some seriously good songs if I want to have any hope of catch up. I actually played all the songs on the list but these are the only ones that I got any better scores on. I actually had a hard time getting back up to the level I had gotten. I think I have some more time tomorrow to put some more effort into this. = )

Good stuff!

I'm back from Vegas. I'm excited to give these a shot as soon as I figure out what day it is and if my body still works. Vegas'll do that to ya. ;)

Now I'm really thinking that at least one of us is going to pull out a real AAA before all this is over. :)

I brought A Love Like This up and closer to your score, but you are still winning.

I got a couple of pretty good scores for Kind Lady. One had a very low Great count of 3, but I had a couple non-combos and dropped a freeze.

Then I had another full combo run that was a little better overall but with a higher Great count of 7. But alas, no X2 AAA, so you're in the lead on this one, too. At least for now... :)

It should be noted that all of these scores were obtained after I had been playing for about an hour--including passing MAX 300 (barely, with a C...but still a pass!). I'm pretty excited to have my stamina coming back.

I kept inching closer and closer to your score tonight. Then at the end of the night, after about 90 minutes of play, I gave it three more attempts. I got Greats + 1 NC, then 6 Greats (slightly better than my previous high), and then this...

BLACK FLAG!

It now takes a "classic" AAA to play. :)

Hey, Mr. Homeowner. You should get yourself a machine. :)

I'm in the process of refinancing my house, so I could be getting a little bit of extra money. I would've loved to have gotten that pump machine had the guy selling it actually responded to my emails.

I don't think I heard about this story. Good luck with your refi. I hope to add you to my (surprisingly long) list of arcade collecting friends soon! :)

It was basically a post off of Craigslist that my sister's husband had pointed to me about getting a Pump It Up GX NX machine for $3000. I had sent you an IM asking about if that sounded reasonable and you said if it was all in working condition and looking nice, then yes, it'd be worth it.

So, I sent an email to the guy asking questions about the machine and if I could see it and test it out (basically acting like a geek and explaining experiences about the game). About five messages back and forth after that, he said it was his friend's that I'd have to set up a time to come see it.

Well, when I tried to get a time locked down, he stopped replying to my emails. I waited and shot a couple more, but he stopped responding back. I was really miffed about it, but I was kinda happy about not having to get a small loan for $3000.

Oh yeah. I do remember you asking me about that now that you mention it. That was quite a while ago though, wasn't it?

Anyway, it seems like there are plenty of machines out there in that price range, so I don't think you missed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity or anything. But yeah, I can understand how that would be frustrating.

Well, I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors (refi, arcades, etc.). You should come visit soon and we can have a Geometry Wars showdown. :)
