I'm just putting this out there, so someone correct me if I'm wrong, but their website advertises "free play Thursday" as the day that $10 gets yo unlimited games... and it's only valid after 9pm.

You are wrong.

I assume you are referring to the Play Your Way Thursday special on this page: http://www.gameworks.com/?tId=2

If you read the special, you will see: "Not available at GameWorks Las Vegas or Indianaplis locations"
Additionally in the note below is: "See your GameWorks locations page for details."

If you jump over to the GameWorks Indianapolis local page, you'll see:
Local Events

Tuesday
Ten Buck Tuesday - Play all day for only $10!
In addition, the Indianapolis GameWorks location closes at 9pm Monday-Thursday, so an unlimited special that starts at 9pm isn't really a deal at all.

I've been going to Ten Buck Tuesdays for well over a decade back when our location was still a Sega City--long before DDR even existed. The methods and times have varied a bit over the years, but it's been one of the most consistent specials I can think of and was largely responsible for the establishment of the initial IndyDDR community. If you look at the photo archives, a large number of the albums from the first few years were taken on Ten Buck Tuesdays.

Speaking of which, Gameworks Las Vegas was very sub par. Just putting that out there.

Man, I had such a good time tonight! Thanks to everybody that showed up and made tonight great. I really can't wait to move to Indianapolis in the fall and do things like this more often. =]

So you usually comb through albums looking for me. You know how I know you're gay?

Drop a line about the machine quality. I've heard some horror stories from the Chicago Gameworks, but confirmation of quality is required.

DDR X IS THE BEST GAME EVER! IT'S SO FREAKING AWESOME! WE ALL STAYED AND PLAYED IT CONSTANTLY UNTIL MIDNIGHT. THEY TRIED TO KICK US OUT BE WE WERE LIEK NO F THAT ITS DDR X TIME BITCHES! THE PAD IS LIKE AMAZING, IT GIVES LESS THAN 20 PAD MISSES PER SONG USUALLY, BUT SOMETIMES IF YOU'RE REALLY LUCKY YOU CAN GET 40 OR 50! AND IT HAS USB INPUT BUT NOBODY KNOWS HOW TO WORK THEM. U LIEK STICK UR MALE USB INTO ITS FEMALE USB HOLE BUT NOTHING HAPPENS. I EVEN WIGGLED MINE A LITTLE BIT LIEK OMG. OH AND IT HAS THIS AMAZING ANNOUNCER GUY, I LOVE HIS ASS. HE LIEK SINGS ALONG WITH THE SONG IF YOU'RE DOING GOOD AND HE TALKS REALLY LOUDLY NONSTOP THE REST OF THE TIME THE SONG IS PLAYING SO LIEK YOU HAVE AN EXCUSE FOR NOT GETTING MARVELOUSES! WE LIEK TO CALL THEM "ANNOUNCER GREATS!" AND IN BETWEEN SONGS HE LIKES TO SAY LITTLE MOTIVATIONAL THINGS LIKE "HURRY UP HOLMES" AND "HEY MAN THIS ISN'T GOLF!" SRSLY U GUYS GOTTA CHECK THIS SHIT OUT!

Mike are you excited for Starcraft II or are you in the Team Liquid crowd and believe that unless it is Starcraft 1 with updated graphics that it will suck balls? Mike, will you get in the beta?

Personally I'm fairly excited and it'll probably be the first game I go out and actually buy in ages.
