HOLIDAY WORLD! (8/11 & 8/12)

Ok, so Cbav and Jeff and Mike and I were talking in the car this one time and we thought how uber cool it would be if we all got a group together and went to Holiday World. Sooo, if anyone is interested in coming along on this Holiday World excursion, please let us know...

From Indy it is a 3h10m drive....so that is why we are coming up the night before, because it's only cool when you get there like a half hour before it opens, because then you are like the first one in line for all the cool rides. And waking up early is a pain, so if we stay overnight we will get more sleep and we can wake up and leave to get there early.

We will be staying in an unconfirmed hotel...and if other people are interested, then we will probably need more than just one room...because that would probably get a little crazy. It would be fun...but crazy.

Unless you have some sort of Holiday World discount...it costs $33.95 to get into the park.

SO FAR the confirmed guests are Mike, CBav, and me....and Jeff is only semi-confirmed.

Btw, the Voyage is freaking awesome. I have a goal to ride it 20 times in a row, and I will succeed in my goal...

we were planning to be at holiday world on saturday august 11, but there's no reason we couldn't go on sunday august 12 instead........

Ok....so would it be more convenient for people if we changed the date to the 11th and 12th, instead of the 10th and 11th? Would that be better for the "V Move-In Crew"? Because, seriously, the more the merrier.

Hotel-wise, I found a hotel in Dale, IN...which is like 11 minutes away from Holiday World. We are pretty sure that this will be the hotel that we will stay at, but it is still unconfirmed.

I think crowds are lighter on Sundays. You might not even have to bother with staying overnight. You'd probably still be able to get all the rides in even if you didn't arrive right when they open.

As for my availability...I could potentially make the trip on that date.
