Hey! I would much rather listen to Celine Dion, thank you.Intermezzo wrote:They still won't turn the machine up, though. "We turned it down so the customers can hear the overhead radio." That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

Fun fact: only 3 posts at IndyDDR.com contain the word "boop."BigBadOrc wrote:boop

That's coming from corporate though. That has nothing to do with management etc. etc. And really although the songs are really throughly enjoyable to listen to on DDR (/sarcasm), the songs themselves aren't really needed in order to pass a song on DDR.Intermezzo wrote:Right side has been fixed, so I'll probably head back up there on Tuesdays.

Just to beat a dead horse.
The sound is at a perfectly acceptable volume to play the game and hear the music. The bass isn't up as much as I would like it to be, but meh... I'm playing on a machine that someone else owns and operates. Their rules and whatnot.
The game is still playable and enjoyable. lulz.
edit: Fuck typos

Demitri was saying they turned it up a bit. I could tell an obvious difference. On Saturday, you could barely hear it at all.Spazz wrote:Pheadra wrote:That's coming from corporate though. My opinion on volume...
SuperNOVA was passable. I didn't actually play it, but I could just barely hear it while sitting at the table about 8 feet away. I could still hear the house music and people talking to me more clearly, but I could at least hear the machine if I listened for it.
USA was too low. I'm probably the only one who would care, but it was just barely audible from the stage. Some songs were a real struggle to hear--a definite negative for freestyling as I depend on listening to keep my place and beat when I'm not actively looking at the screen. And from the table...I couldn't hear it at all.
